SOLAR PERSPECTIVES Global seasonal color palette and overarching concept was created for Spring Summer 2020 high end outdoor and sportswear purpose.

Spring-Summer 2020 being heavily inspired by the planet earth conscious consumer macro trend, SOLAR PERSPECTIVES presents this new approach. This season we talk about everything-Nature from a micro and macro cosmic point of view. We get inspired by the solar phenomenons that create light shifts and modify our perceptions of reality.

Colors are heavily inspired by the great outdoors mixed with city lines and our planet’s landscapes presenting lots of earthy, grounding tones and luminous solar hues. Greens are important, as well as aqua/seafoam colors that are a pillar of the season. Fresh pastels, sun-drenched or faded, become the new staples of the season and are counterbalanced by bright accents. Browns turn warm and matte this season and the core browns turn into clean and metallic tans.

Within the SOLAR PERSPECTIVES overarching concept, lives ECLIPSE, a color concept strictly developed for activewear purposes.

The ECLIPSE concept is inspired by the light changes and deep contrasts like the ones we can witness at the end of the day when the sun disappears from view and the moon starts to glow a strange light.

The concept is built around the tension between darkness and light like “Color in the blackness”: Inky shades intensify the strength of pastel and soft tones. Some bio-luminous greens and blue pops meet warm summer browns or shadowy neutrals

The fresh hues full of dynamism and spirit bring boldness and muscle to the earthy tones.

These nature-inspired + bio-luminous pop harmonies are used with dusted, spaced dye ombre or overlaying finishes on highly technical fabrics to create interest.
